Spin Dizzy Fall: BROOKLYN BRIDGE

“One can’t paint New York as it is, but rather as it is felt.”

Here lies my last post from New York! Naturally, the Brooklyn Bridge was a MUST on our list of places to visit in NYC. We decided to walk across the bridge to get a full view of Manhattan behind us and then get the subway back from the other side. As with the High Line, mentioned in a previous post, I would recommend visiting the bridge boardwalk early to beat the crowds. We also visited Wall Street, grabbed a Starbucks (because, duh New York), took the Staten Island Ferry to cruise by the Statue of Liberty, visited Ground Zero, walked through Washington Square park and past the Flat Iron building, ate at Katz diner (featured in When Harry Met Sally), went to a Mets baseball game in Queens, ate hotdogs in Brooklyn and spotted squirrels in all the city parks! Even though New York was FULL ON, after looking back at our memories it just makes me want to go again.
