a new wind came across my mind, yet, it’s only a hommage to old stuff….you see, thirty years ago, I had the big chance to be one of Vivienne Westwood’s design students …. her ideas have blewn my mind, in the past, and until now !
But some time ago, she left us….in a very personal manner, I picked up her magnificent ideas about the 1980’s “Pirat Style”, I so much adore this !!!
This year, from spring upwards, I created some clothes with this strong what I call Pirat Style, due to Vivienne”s influence and hommage to her work, but also linked with my ever inspiring 1700’s menswear influence … okay, in those two photos this influence is less evident, but the ambition of the models, their poses and “mise en scène” is absolutely there, at least for me ….
