hand pies
hello hello! second to last day at work here; i’ve been trying to insure they’ll miss me by making some decent snacks. i tested out this muffin tin pie idea wednesday night with dinner (and packaged most of them up to send to my little sister) – so yesterday, i stepped it up a bit and made 2 different kinds of pie, apple and pumpkin, all in a muffin tin.i just used standard pie dough and regular fillings – for one-crust pies, like the pecan and pumpkin, one pie crust is …
undone for good
(Sunday Somewhere x fashiontoast Paris sunglasses, Bones & Feathers Collective choker, Tuchuzy tank, Friend of Mine Vampire leather skirt, Aquazzura Sahara heels, Michael Verheyden tote) From what I can remember, I wore this outfit three days in a row. Around that. Except it slowly got diluted down to Birkenstocks, but what doesn’t these days? So I have these beautiful velvety foot wrappy sandals now, and though the instinct with latte toned suede is to go full on buttery pastels, I did the opposite. I love the contrast of raw…
All Aboard The Brooklyn-Bound Christian Dior Ferry
Ladies and gentlemen, the next Brooklyn-bound Dior Ferry will arrive in 2 minutes. The next stop is Brooklyn Navy Yard. Please mind the gap between yourself and the models. I texted my friend Jane, Glamour Magazine’s new Fashion News Director at 2PM: “Let’s meet at 6:15PM, 35th street pier, if you can. I want to be there early.” We both decided to take the logo-emblazoned chartered ferry (complete with all-white seat covers and cocktails served) to Brooklyn Navy Yard, the venue of yesterday evening’…

Ilona Heads To Provincetown
I met up with Ilona right before she headed to Provincetown for the summer. She told me that she can’t wait to swim in the sea and take in all the colors and warmth of Cape Cod. I always miss Ilona during her summers in P-Town, but am excited to catch up on all her adventures back in the city in September.
Hermès Petit H: Scrap It Up
Since she just a girl, Pascale Mussard, the great-great-great granddaughter of Hermès founder Thierry Hermès, has been collecting scraps from the iconic house’s workshops on Rue du Faubourg St.-Honoré (where she spent her childhood…how jealous are we?!). Then in 2011, after 33 years with the company, she was named co-artistic director, and with that, finally began to put her fine scraps to use with the birth of Petit h!Read the full post Hermès Petit H: Scrap It Up which appeared first on Snob Essentials.
