Here’s three lipsticks that I love using right now from brands that I’d never tried before.
Brand BITE: ‘GRAPE’ (violet purple) and ‘SATSUMA’ (bold pink)
Matte finish lip crayons that feel creamy. I pulled the trigger after a lunch with a girlfriend (who’s blonde/blue eyed) she wore a bright pink lipstick that looked amazing on her and she said it was from BITE. I went to Sephora and the sale assistant was gushing over them (although she works there so I question the gush). I tried on BITE’s bright matte pink in Satsuma and was sold. Feels velvety going on and dried matte without drying my mouth (usually a tricky combination). GRAPE is a matte violet purple (I got two in Grape because I loved it that much and sent one to a friend overseas) and SATSUMA is a matte fuchsia. Get them here.
BRAND: Too Faced ‘Melted Fuschia’
Holy pigment!! You squeeze the tube and swipe the liquid that comes out of the sponge applicator. The colour looks like electric fuchsia and really brightens up anything you wear. It’s build able and stays put for hours. Dries to a matte finish and is very pigmented. This is the newest lipstick that I’m still playing with and I love it. I’m wearing it in the studded jacket post. This colour was sold out in one shop so of course that made me want it even more when I did find it elsewhere. Get it here.
BRAND: Topshop ‘Beguiled‘
Sick gothic berry colour. This is a strong vamp lip like a roaring twenties flapper girl. It goes on super smooth and is build able so you can wear it full on dark or blot it down to a stain which looks so pretty. If you don’t believe me then read the reviews. I’m kind of surprised about this one from Topshop. Get it here.
Let me know if you try one of these this month!
Note: I am MAC NC45 with yellow undertones but think that these colors would suit most skin tones!
